It was season 2, I think. Godric’s “lair” or nest or whatever you want to call it had just been paid a visit by a suicide bomber who was one of the Followers of the Sun. Eric told Sookie that he’d been struck by a silver bullet, and since the silver was so debilitating to vamps, he couldn’t get it out on his own; that she needed to suck the bullets out. It was just a trick to get her to drink his blood so he’d be able to read her emotions and be tied to him, not just Bill.
